Dr. Prasanta Kumar Chanda, a Senior Consultant and Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute, has recently joined Square Hospital as a Senior Consultant in the Cardiac Surgery Department. With 20 years of experience in the field, Dr. Chanda possesses expertise in performing a wide range of cardiac surgeries, including Beating Heart Coronary Artery Bypass Surgeries (CABG), Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (MICS), Redo or Repeat Cardiac Surgery, Aortic Surgery (specifically Bentall, David procedure, Total Arch Replacement, FET), and more. Dr. Chanda is considered to be one of the pioneers of MICS and Aortic Surgery programs in Bangladesh
