He holds an MBBS degree, as well as an MSC in Hepatology, FCPS in BD & PK, FRCP in Glasg & Edin, FACP in the USA, and FCCP in the USA. He formerly served as a Professor and Head in the Department of Hepatology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital. He currently practices at The Liver Center in Dhanmondi, where he provides treatment to his patients. His practicing hours are from 3 pm to 5 pm, and he is closed on Fridays
