About Prof. Dr. Nasima Akhtar
Prof. Dr. Nasima Akhtar is an Otolaryngology Professor at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a focus on various forms of middle ear microsurgery, ossiculoplasty, stapedotomy, cochlear implants, and deafness management. She is the first female fellow and the only female Cochlear Implant surgeon in Bangladesh. Prof. Nasima is passionate about education and training in Otolaryngology and is actively involved in academia.
