About Prof. Dr. Nasima Akhtar

Prof. Dr. Nasima Akhtar is an Otolaryngology Professor at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a focus on various forms of middle ear microsurgery, ossiculoplasty, stapedotomy, cochlear implants, and deafness management. She is the first female fellow and the only female Cochlear Implant surgeon in Bangladesh. Prof. Nasima is passionate about education and training in Otolaryngology and is actively involved in academia. She provides treatment to her patients regularly at Green Life Hospital in Dhaka, with her practicing hours being from 4pm to 9pm, closed on Fridays.
